On every page there is a Customer Login section. Just input the username and password details which you chose when you registered, and click "Login". You are now logged in.
No. If you browse as a guest, you will not have access to the full website functionality. If you do not want to input your login details each time you visit the site, you can select the ‘remember me on this PC' option. This means you will automatically be logged in when you access the website. Please note that you should not click this option if your PC is shared with other users or if you are in an internet café, as your account could be accessed by others.
Not a problem. On every page there is a Customer Login section, and at the bottom of the section is a FORGOT PASSWORD link. Simply click this link and follow the instructions. You can request to have a new password emailed to you at the address you specified when you registered.

No. Users must not create more than one account. Emirates Auction will delete a duplicate account, and reserves the right to delete the original account if fraudulent use is suspected.

Yes. You must be 18 years or older to register, and therefore to be able to bid.
It's simple. Once you have REGISTERED (and have paid the entry fee and refundable security deposit), just find a licence plate you're interested in. To place your bid, click the BID NOW button next to the licence plate you would like. Enter your bid, and click CONTINUE. You will be shown your bid and asked to confirm it by entering your password. Once this is accepted your bid is now registered for that number plate. At the end of the auction for that particular number plate, if you have the highest bid, you will be declared the winner and owner of the number plate.
All nationalities are permitted to bid.
There are no limits, you may purchase as many licence plates as you like.
You can either pay online, in person by cash or cheque, or by bank transfer.
Online: Once your bid is successful, you can make a secure online credit card payment via either VISA or MasterCard. This will generate an online receipt which you must print.
In person: If you prefer to pay in person you will be asked to print the invoice from the website and take it to the Emirates Auction Office to make payment. Once payment is made you will be given an Adjudication Certificate.
If you prefer to pay by Bank Transfer, you can make a transfer to the Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank account number listed on the invoice. Once the payment has cleared you will receive a receipt from the bank.
Whichever payment method you have selected, you must take either the receipt or the Adjudication Certificate to the Privatisation Department of Abu Dhabi Police where they will issue you with an Ownership Certificate .
Alternatively, we can send the Ownership Certificate to you by mail, but only if the owner is the same person registered on the Emirates Auction website.
This contravenes the Terms and Conditions which you agreed to when you registered. If you do not complete the payment, your Security Deposit will be confiscated, and repeat offenders may be denied entry to subsequent auctions. We also reserve the right to take legal action.
If you do not wish to pay online, then you must print the invoice and visit Emirates Auction Office or the Abu Dhabi Police Privatisation Department within three (3) business days to pay the relevant winning bid price. If payment is not forthcoming, you will forfeit your security deposit and we reserve the right to take appropriate legal action.
When another buyer's bid exceeds your bid, you will receive an email informing you that you have been outbid. You can use the link in the email to return to the item page and increase your bid if you desire. Please therefore make sure you check your email regularly during an auction.

Please note that the certificate will be issued in the registered name, and is subject to an AED 100 registration fee. If you wish to register the licence plate to another name, then you must come in person to the Abu Dhabi Police Privatisation Department and sign a transfer form.
